Located in the Heart of the English Countryside is this stunning property located in a 17th Century thatched pub – The Sun Inn. This unique hidden treasure, oozes with sophistication and class. It is the perfect property and location for enjoying time in the English countryside.
Located in the Rural Village of Felmersham, there are plenty of countryside walks, right on your door step as well as the River Great Ouse running straight though the village. In summertime you will find friends and families having picnic by the water, or kayaking to nearby villages.
Being Located above The Sun Inn, there is no shortage of the amazing food & drink that your heart desires. After recently undergoing an extensive renovation, the pub consists of a casual area, a formal restaurant and a landscaped garden.
The accommodation has its own private entrance and parking so there is no need to worry about walking through the pub when you come and go.
The village of Sharnbrook is just a 5-minute drive away, or a 30 minute countryside / river walk, and contains two pubs, two shops and a café.
The property consists of 2x professionally designed bedrooms, 2x Bathrooms and a Sofa bed within the living area, allowing for up to 6 people to stay in this beautiful and unique property and enjoy all that the area has to offer.
When first entering the yellow painted door, on your left you will find the first bedroom. Stepping in you are immediately greeted by high quality fittings and furnishings that provide a luxury look and feel.
With the room there is a wall mounted smart TV for lazy mornings in bed, a large tiled bathroom with brass tapware and a walk-in shower, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine and mini fridge.
Leaving the first bedroom and walking down the hall, on your left you will find the main living area.
Your cozy living room is complete with fitted storage, a smart TV, dining table with four chairs and a luxurious sofa bed. Within the main living area there is a small kitchenette consisting of a fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and butlers sink, all within a bespoke made work top (please note there is no appliances for cooking).
Moving further down the hall on your way up to the bedroom, there is a large tiled bathroom featuring his and hers sinks, brass plated tapware and a spacious walk-in shower.
Coming out of the bathroom and heading upstairs you pass by a low-lit exposed brick wall with automatic lights, which reminds you of the character of the building whilst continuing to add to the feel of luxury and charm.
Up the bespoke made oak stairs, you are first greeted by a large dressing area with double doors leading to the bedroom.
Opening the door and heading into your bedroom, on your left you will find a brass plated roll top bath and heated towel rail. A feature that you would be impressed with in a 5-star hotel!
The Bedroom itself is furnished with great attention to detail. The low light and uses of colour in the furnishings makes the space simply magical. There is even a smart TV for lazy mornings in bed.
When the sun is shining you can venture down to the landscaped rear pub garden and enjoy some fantastic food and drink with family and friends, before retreating back to your luxurious home away from home.
We give our guests complete privacy, but we do have staff on side during the Pub's opening hours as well as 24 hour support via messaging.
